Earthquake forecast has been a polemical study theme that has confronted even the most intelligent of minds. In this monograph, an attempt was made to do an extensive overview in the area of the earthquake prediction as well as classifying them into the main strategies comprising short‐, immediate‐, and long‐term prediction. In the last decade, significant improvements have been made in earthquake sciences as well as in their applications for disaster risk reduction.
