Molecular Biology of the Cell

Cell and molecular biology is a multidisciplinary area of science that interacts with the fields of chemistry, structure and biology in order to explain life and cellular mechanisms at the molecular level. This book deals with the understanding of how cells function by introducing an experimental basis for cell and molecular biology. Through learning how cells function in stable and diseased states, cell biologists working in animal, plant and medical sciences will be able to produce new vaccines, more efficient drugs, improved plants, and a greater understanding of how all living organisms exist through increased awareness. In the future, molecular and cell biology have a great deal to bring to tropical medicine as well as helping to understand the population genetics and dynamics of both infectious and non-infectious diseases.
